Joshua Sills - Assistant Stage Manager Josh graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in July 2006 with a BA hons degree in Technical Theatre.
Since completing his degree he has worked on several productions, including: Four Play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; Summer and Smoke for Stanhope Productions at the Apollo Theatre, directed by Adrian Noble; Ghosts for the Gate Theatre; The King of the Paprika Crisps for the Unicorn Theatre. He is currently the Assistant to the Producer on Fiddler on the Roof for Stanhope Productions at the Savoy Theatre.
Josh’s theatre interest began at the age of six when he started out as a child actor, performing in productions with the NYMT, and at the Royal Festival Hall, along with many pantomimes and several commercials. Josh holds ISTD dance qualifications in tap, modern and ballet, and LAMDA qualifications in verse and prose, acting and mime.
Josh is also currently a drama teacher at the Carol Kristian Theatre School in Hertfordshire where he has been teaching group and solo classes for three years. He recently directed the school’s summer show Alice in Wonderland.
His long term ambition is to progress into directing and eventually producing shows in the West End.
