Jon Huyton - Company Stage Manager


Jon trained at the Drama Centre London as an actor from 1984–87, and worked in theatre, film and television for 12 years, appearing in Scissor Happy (the Duchess Theatre); John Godber’s Bouncers (British tour); Peace in Our Time by Noël Coward (British tour). Television appearances included: The Sharp End (BBC); Spooks (BBC); and Cracker (Granada). Films included: Swing (with Lisa Stansfield and Hugo Speer); and Dancing in the Dark by Willy Russell.
Throughout this period, Jon also worked as an ASM on various West End productions including: Five Guys Named Moe (Lyric and Wyndham’s Theatre); Hot Shoe Shuffle (Queen’s Theatre); Smokey Joe’s Cafe (the Prince of Wales Theatre); Bookends (Apollo); Sylvia and Vanilla (Lyric); and The Pajama Game (directed by Simon Callow).
Company stage manager credits include: Bouncers (three British tours, including understudying, company manager and actor); Life in the Theatre (directed by Lindsay Posner with Patrick Stewart); Honour (starring Dame Diana Rigg); Rock ’n’ Roll (directed by Sir Trevor Nunn and written by Tom Stoppard, with Brian Cox, Sinéad Cusack and Rufus Sewell); Aspects of Love (British tour starring David Essex); and The Woman in Black (two British tours).
 

Jade Hunter – Deputy Stage Manager 

Jade trained at LAMDA. 

Her most recent theatre work includes Grumpy Old Women To The Rescue (UK Tour), Peter Pan (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Frogman (UK Tour),Whisper House (The Other Palace), Promises Promises (Southwark Playhouse), Saving Jason (Park Theatre), Floyd Collins (Wilton’s Music Hall), Boys Will Be Boys (Bush Hall), Spindrift (UK Tour), The Spanish Tragedy (Old Red Lion), Your Last Breath (Southwark Playhouse), SOLO (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Chef (Soho Theatre), Pioneer (UK Tour), Charley’s Aunt, Torch Song Trilogy and Accomplice (Menier Chocolate Factory) and Epidemic (The Old Vic). 

Camilla Direk – Assistant Stage Manager

Camilla graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in July 2014 with a degree in English Literature with Acting and Screen and Film.

After completing her degree she went onto work at Chickenshed Theatre where she was Assistant Stage Manager for three years working on a variety of musicals, plays and dance pieces. Whilst working at Chickenshed she also helped stage manage a number of Gala events and performances at renowned venues such as the V&A, The Guild Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and the ITV Studios in London.

Since then she has gone onto work as an Assistant Stage Manager on other productions in and around London. Some of her recent theatre work includes: The Firm (Hampstead Theatre), Bananaman the Musical (Southwark Playhouse) and Dead Man Walking (The Barbican).

Camilla currently works casually as Stage Crew at the Barbican assisting with the set up of concerts for the London Symphony Orchestra and other classic and contemporary concerts and operas.  She also enjoys follow spotting and has follow spotted productions of Avenue Q and Mack and Mabel (Wyllyotts Theatre).   

Camilla is thrilled to be joining the team as Assistant Stage Manager on The Woman in Black and is delighted to be working on such a well received, well established production that continues to send shivers down spines the world over.
